Applications
NMC is a novel lithium insertion electrode material for advanced lithium-ion batteries. Mn doping significantly increases the thermal stability besides increasing the electrochemical charge-discharge behavior.

NMC111 (lithium nickel-manganese-cobalt oxide with a stoichiometry of 1:1:1) is a promising cathode material used in advanced lithium-ion batteries, particularly for electric vehicle applications, due to its high energy density and long cycle life. NMC111 powder has a layered crystal structure that enables efficient, reversible lithium-ion diffusion, which is essential for good electrochemical performance. Manganese doping improves the thermal stability of the material while enhancing its electrochemical charge-discharge behavior.
