4D-Nucleofector™ System



The 4D-Nucleofector™ System was developed to offer advanced performance, flexibility and convenience. The system is controlled by intuitive software on a touch screen user interface. Its modular architecture allows seamless expansion of the system for new applications. It comprises a core unit and different functional units:

Stem cells possess the unique ability to proliferate as an undifferentiated cell type, then, when properly stimulated, differentiate into multiple lineages of cells. Lonza’s TheraPEAK™ MSCGM-CD™ Chemically Defined Mesenchymal Stem Cell Medium is a chemically defined, serum-free, xeno-free media designed to proliferate human bone marrow derived mesenchymal cells in an undifferentiated state. The medium has been specifically designed and tested to ensure that the medium neither promotes spontaneous differentiation of cells nor inhibits cell differentiation to osteogenic, chondrogenic, or adipogenic lineages (when properly stimulated with an appropriate differentiation media). Serum-free media, such as TheraPEAK™ MSCGM-CD™ Chemically Defined Mesenchymal Stem Cell Medium, are intended to support cell growth without serum supplementation. This medium is chemically defined indicating that it contain only constituents of known molecular structure. Lonza’s TheraPEAK™ MSCGM-CD™ Chemically Defined Mesenchymal Stem Cell Medium is of primary interest to those seeking maximal control over research and manufacturing variables. TheraPEAK™ MSCGM-CD™ Chemically Defined Mesenchymal Stem Cell Medium’s formulation is complete and contains human albumin, recombinant human insulin, pasteurized human transferrin, HEPES, and L-glutamine. TheraPEAK™ MSCGM-CD™ Chemically Defined Mesenchymal Stem Cell Medium does not contain phenol red or antibiotics. The basal medium (MSCBM-CD Mesenchymal Basal Medium, Chemically defined; catalog no.00190620) and the necessary supplements (MSCGM-CD™ SingleQuotsTMKit ; catalog no. 00192125) are included in this BulletKit.
