ONE Broth Salmonella Selective Medium Preparation:
Suspend 5.6g of ONE Broth-Salmonella Base in 225ml of distilled water. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool to below 50°C and add the contents of 1 vial of ONE Broth-Salmonella Supplement (SR0242), resuspended as directed.
Storage conditions and Shelf life
The ONE Broth-Salmonella Selective Supplement should be stored in the dark at 2-8ºC. When stored as directed, the unopened products will remain stable until the expiry date printed on the packaging.
Once prepared, ONE Broth-Salmonella can be stored for up to 2 weeks when made from CM1091 and SR0242 according to the manufacturer’s instructions and stored at 2-8ºC, in the dark. A longer shelf life may be attainable, but should be validated under the relevant, local manufacturing and storage conditions.

Stuart Transport Medium, Oxoid Preparation:
Suspend 16g in 1 litre of distilled water. Bring to the boil to dissolve completely and dispense into screw-capped 7ml bottles. Fill each bottle to the brim, tighten the cap and sterilise by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes. When sufficiently cool to handle, mix by inversion.

Store the prepared medium at 15-25°C.
Precautions
A small amount of blue colour at the top of the bottle indicates oxidation. If this colour extends down into the medium it should be discarded.
Avoid prolonged heating in open flasks, during the preparation of the medium, because thioglycollate is volatile.
Sodium glycerophosphate may be metabolised by some organisms and thus promote their growth.

General Description
Our titanium(IV) oxide nanopowder is a fine white powder composed of titanium dioxide nanoparticles with an average particle size of 21 nm, resulting in a high surface area of 35-65 m2/g. Two main physico-chemically distinct polymorphs of TiO2 are anatase and rutile. Anatase has a higher photocatalytic activity than rutile but is thermodynamically less stable.
Application
TiO2 nanoparticles were used to study the photocatalytic hexane vapor degradation. It has been used as a sorbent for arsenic removal. TiO2 nanoparticles are suitable for remediation of antiseptic components in wastewater by photocatalysis. It has also been used to study adsorption of DNA oligonucleotides by titanium dioxide nanoparticles.

Applications
Tin(II) iodide (SnI₂) is a versatile compound with a range of applications in research, particularly in semiconductor technology, solar cells, chemical synthesis, catalysis, etc. SnI₂ is used in perovskite solar cells as a precursor for tin-based perovskites or as an additive to improve device stability and performance. The addition of a small amount of 2D tin film induces well-defined orientation and superior crystallinity in formamidinium tin iodide (FASnI3) films. This results in the longer life of charge carriers and improves the performance of the hybrid perovskite solar cell (HPSC). It can also be used to prepare solution-processable lamellar hybrid
[CH3(CH2)11NH3]SnI3semiconductor.Its catalytic properties can be leveraged to develop new synthetic methodologies such as reductions, cyclisations, and coupling reactions. It is suitable to be use in photonic applications, including sensors and photovoltaic devices. It is used as a deposition material for preparing thin films for use in electronic and optoelectronic devices. Techniques like chemical vapour deposition (CVD) and physical vapour deposition (PVD) are explored for creating high-quality films. In a study, it is found that when a novel catalytic system comprised of tin sulfide (SnS) nanoflakes as a solid catalyst and tin iodide (SnI2) as a dual-functional electrolyte additive, the Li-air battery enables operating at high current rates up to 10 000 mA g−1 (corresponding to 1 mA cm−2). SeaKem® LE Agarose was the first and is still the world’s most trusted agarose for nucleic acid electrophoresis. Ideal for routine analysis of nucleic acids by gel electrophoresis and blotting, each SeaKem® LE Gel sharply resolves DNA and provides consistent resolution from lot-to-lot. This molecular biology grade agarose has no detectable DNase or RNase activity and forms strong gels with low background upon ethidium bromide, SYBR® Green, or GelStarTM Staining. Due to its low EEO, DNA will have a high electrophoretic mobility. SeaKem® LE Agarose is also recommended for protein gel electrophoresis in applications such as Ouchterlony and radial immunodiffusion (RID).
