MSRV (ISO) Agar, Oxoid Preparation:
Suspend 31.6g of MSRV (ISO) Agar base in 1 litre of distilled water. Bring to the boil with frequent agitation. DO NOT AUTOCLAVE. Cool to 50°C, and aseptically add the contents of 1 vial of Novobiocin Supplement (SR0181), reconstituted as directed. Mix well, and pour into sterile Petri dishes. This medium is semi-solid, therefore do not invert plates.
Storage conditions and Shelf life
MSRV (ISO) should be stored in the tightly capped original container at 10-30°C. Novobiocin Supplement should be stored in the dark at 2-8°C. When stored as directed, the un-opened products will remain stable until the expiry date printed on the packaging.
Precautions
MSRV (ISO) Agar is for laboratory use only. Do not use the dehydrated medium beyond the stated expiry date or if the product shows any sign of deterioration.
Basal medium is very hygroscopic.
When handling powder a face mask and gloves must be worn. Refer to material safety data sheet for details.

Description
Gram-Color – stain set for the Gram staining method, is used for human-medical cell diagnosis and serves the purpose of the bacteriological investigation of sample material of human origin, for example smears of body fluids. The Gram-Color solutions are modified and designed in such a way that staining can be carried out in staining cells, on the staining rack, and also in automated staining systems. Gram-color modified, phenol-free is a staining set for staining microorganisms. Aniline dyes in the cell tissue of microorganisms form a red dye-iodine complex when exposed to iodine. Sodium hydrogen carbonate enhances the formation of this complex further still. In gram-positive microorganisms the dye-iodine complex cannot be subsequently dissolved from the cells by decolorizing agents such as alcohol or acetone. The cell remains dark blue in color. In gram-negative microorganisms the dye-iodine complex is dissolved and the cell turns red as a result of counterstaining with fuchsin. Gram-color modified, phenol-free is an IVD / CE product.

Suspend 45.2g in 1 litre of distilled water and bring to the boil to disolve completely. Sterilise by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool to 50°C and aseptically add 50ml of sterile inactivated Horse Serum. Mix well and pour into Petri dishes.

Store the prepared plates at 2-8°C away from light.
Precautions
The medium must be at its correct pH value to ensure good pigmentation.

General Description
Transparent titania (TiO2) paste is a visual range transparent paste that has a large surface area to volume ratio. The average diameter of the TiO2 nanoparticle within the paste is 20nm and the transparent sintered films are around 6-7 μm thick per printed layer.
Application
TiO2 paste forms a screen printed film which is majorly used as a conduction band on indium tin oxide (ITO) or fluorine doped tin oxide (FTO) based substrates for dye sensitized solar cells and for major photovoltaic based applications.
Use Transparent Titania Paste in applications that require a transparent sintered titania film with a large surface/volume ratio.
Transparent Titania Paste is formulated to yield sintered film thicknesses of 6-7μm when screen printed with a 43T mesh. Transparent Titania Paste has highly dispersed and stable anatase nanoparticles.
It is optimised for screen printing using a synthetic 43T mesh screen (or similar). After drying; this paste must be fired at or above 500°C. This results in a transparent sintered layer; with a film thickness of approximately 6-7μm for one printed layer and ~12μm for two printed layers; when using a 43T mesh screen.
The paste exhibits optimal rheological properties that provide good surface uniformity and contains organic binders specially formulated to provide versatile porosity suitable for a range of dye/electrolyte systems.

Mix well and pour into sterile Petri dishes.

Precautions
