Description

Buffer tablets with a pH of 6.8 are recommended for the preparation of buffer solutions according to WEISE for the staining of blood smears. These tablets are used to make buffer solutions and pH-buffered staining solutions, specifically phosphate buffer solutions, which are commonly used in hematology. They are also used to dilute staining solutions and rinse stained samples during the staining process.

100 buffer tablets are sufficient for preparing 100 liters of buffer solution, and each solution can remain stable for up to four weeks. The buffer tablets according to WEISE are in vitro diagnostic products that are CE registered.

MSTFA along with Trimethylsilyl chloride (TMCS) in eithyl acetate, acetonitrile and dichloromethane solvents leads to formation of trimethylsilyl (TMS) and tert-butyldimethylsilyl (TBS) derivatives.[1]
Suitable for the derivatization of amines, amino acids, carboxyl, hydroxyamines, indolalkylamine, n-nitrosoamino acids, nucleosides, phenolalkylamines, serotonin and tryptamine.

Trypsin is applicable for tissue disaggregation, due to its effective action and tolerance towards different cell types and serum-induced neutralization.[1]

For trypsin digestion of peptides, use a ratio of about 1:100 to 1:20 for trypsin:peptide. The typical use for this product is in removing adherent cells from a culture surface. The concentration of trypsin necessary to dislodge cells from their substrate is dependent primarily on the cell type and the age of the culture. Trypsins have also been used for the re-suspension of cells during cell culture, in proteomics research for digestion of proteins and in various in-gel digestionsns†. Additional applications include assessing crystallization by membrane-based techniques and in a study to determine that protein folding rates and yields can be limited by the presence of kinetic traps.
Trypsin from porcine pancreas has been used to digest chicken bones.[2] It has also been used in the isolation of luteal endothelial cells.[3][4][5]
