OEM SeaKem® LE Agarose

Brand:

Lonza

Product Overview
SeaKem® LE Agarose was the first and is still the world’s most trusted agarose for nucleic acid electrophoresis. Ideal for routine analysis of nucleic acids by gel electrophoresis and blotting, each SeaKem® LE Gel sharply resolves DNA and provides consistent resolution from lot-to-lot. This molecular biology grade agarose has no detectable DNase or RNase activity and forms strong gels with low background upon ethidium bromide, SYBR® Green, or GelStarTM Staining. Due to its low EEO, DNA will have a high electrophoretic mobility. SeaKem® LE Agarose is also recommended for protein gel electrophoresis in applications such as Ouchterlony and radial immunodiffusion (RID). Information about bulk and custom packaging is available through Lonza’s Customer Service Team.

Benefits

  • All Lonza Agarose is quality tested to certify performance
  • High gel strength
  • Low EEO
  • Standard melting temperature

Applications

  • Standard DNA/RNA Electrophoreisis

Content & Storage

  • SeaKem® LE Agarose 500 g

Parafilm M® All-Purpose Laboratory Film

Brand:

VWR

Parafilm, a semi-transparent, flexible film that adheres quickly and firmly. It can be sealed to itself, culture tubes or flasks and petri dish edges.

  • Waterproof sheet interwound with paper to prevent adhering
  • Flexible, odourless and tasteless
  • Resistant to air, gases, alcohol, acids and alkalies
Stretches 200% at 21 °C and returns partially to its original size. At 82 – 93 °C, it softens enough to make an adhesive bond between papers, cloths, leathers, etc.
