Use Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid™ Sodium Biselenite in preparation of Selenite Broth Base (CM0395), Mannitol Selenite Broth Base (CM0399) or Selenite Cystine Broth Base (CM0699).  The complete medium is recommended for selective enrichment of Salmonella species from various samples.

• Dissolve 4 grams in 1 liter of distilled water and use this solution to reconstitute the base medium or tablets.

Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid Tryptose is a mixed enzymatic hydrolysate used for the growth of many fastidious microorganisms.

Oxoid Tryptone T peptone developed with Lower ion Levels is ideal for the production of toxin by Clostridium tetani.

The Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid Tryptone ia a pancreatic digest of casein for use where high performance and uniformity of composition are of paramount importance.

Oxoid Casein Hydrolysate (Acid) is a purified hydrolysate which provides the necessary nitrogenous material for culture media or can be used when amino acid mixtures are specified.

Oxoid Peptone Mycological is a mycological peptone developed for isolation of pathogenic and nonpathogenic fungi.

Oxoid Malt Extract is recommended for use in media for yeast and mold growth. An extract of sprouted grain with conserved nitrogen and carbohydrate constituents

Oxoid Skim Milk Powder is a thermophile-free, spray dried powder for inclusion in bacteriological culture media.

Oxoid Purified Agar is an exceptionally bright and clear agar recommended for electrophoresis studies but also suitable for many bacteriological purposes.

Prepare Liver infusion media with Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid™ Liver Desiccated Bacteriological. Liver Desiccated is prepared by the dehydration of fresh pork livers under carefully controlled conditions designed to ensure maximum retention of nutritive properties, and is equivalent to five times its weight of fresh liver.
